As Tribune readers will remember, the death of Mrs. D.B. Moore was announced last week but without particulars. The following we gathered since: Mrs. Elnora Moore, widow of the late Colonel D.B. Moore, died in Palo Alto, California, Sept. 27, 1921. Her maiden name was Lenahan, and she was born in Mineral Point July 8, 1863. Here she attended school, graduating from the high school, after which she attended the Heilman Kindergarten Training school at La Porte, Indiana. Following her marriage she lived in Chicago; later residing with her daughter who was attending college in California.
The remains were conveyed to this city, arriving here Oct. 3d, accompanied by the devoted daughter. Burial in Graceland cemetery took place at 2:30 pm the same day. Mrs. Moore is survived by her daughter, Catherine America Moore, and her sisters, Miss Mary Lenahan, Mrs. J.W. Horn and Miss Anne Lenahan.

Husband Daniel B. Moore Obituary
Daniel Bedford Moore was born in the town of Mifflin, Iowa county, Wisconsin, June 12, 1838, and died in Chicago, July 2, 1914. He was a veteran of the civil war and enlisted at Mineral Point with the 11th Wis. Volunteers under Capt. Whittlesey and was mustered into the U.S. service at Camp Randall on Sept. 9, 1861, re-enlisted Jan. 4, 1864, at Indianola, Texas.
Sergeant D.B. Moore remained with his company and in the gallant 11th Wis. all through the war and the siege of Vicksburg, in all of which he proved himself a brave and true soldier. For an act of bravery at Ft. Blakely, Alabama, he was awarded a medal of honor, by special act of Congress, and also breveted captain. The medal was of copper hung from a ribbon of the national colors, attached thereto by a bar on which is inscribed the word "valor".
On Oct. 14, 1867, Capt. Daniel B. Moore was married to Elizabeth Overton at Platteville, Wis. She departed this life on Nov. 11, 1895 in Chicago. On July 14, 1897, Capt. Moore married Nellie Lenahan at Mineral Point. To them was born on Nov. 19, 1898, Cathrine America Moore at Chicago.
Capt. Moore was active in Chicago public life for twenty five years, during which time he served faithfully the government, county and city.
The remains were brought to this city July 4th and interred in Graceland cemetery, the Rev. Wm. F. Phillips officiating. G.A.R. comrades attended in a body and conducted the services at the grave. Deceased was a member of the U.S. Grant Post of Chicago and of the Legion of Honor.
