Myrtle Moore Boyer, 81, of Simpsonville, wife of the late Warren Samuel Boyer, died Tuesday, September 22, 2015. Born in Abbeville, she was a daughter of the late William Harvey & Rosa Lee Hood Moore. Myrtle was a Charter Member of Messiah Lutheran Church. She had worked as a seamstress at Cintas. Survivors include two daughters, Myrtle Loraine Boyer (Robert) & Laura Frances Boyer; two sons, Larry Gene Boyer (Marilyn) & Ernest Patton Boyer; one stepson, Robert Boyer; ten grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; one great, great grandchild; a daughter-in-law, Rachael Boyer; & a sister-in-law, Jean Moore. She was predeceased by a son, Warren Myrth Boyer; a grandson, Warren Lance Boyer; five brothers & one sister. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:30PM on Saturday, September 26, 2015, at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Southeast Chapel, Simpsonville. Visitation will also be held from 1:00 to 1:45 PM on Sunday, September 27, 2015, at Messiah Lutheran Church with the Funeral Service to follow at 2:00PM. Burial will be in Graceland West Cemetery.
