Cora Belle Moore Boatwright, 73, of 14 Longmeadow Road, widow of Charles C. Boatwright Jr., died Wednesday, July 4, 2001. Born in Long Island, Ala., she was a daughter of the late Arthur Elves and Minnie Belle Lambert Moore. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse with Greenville Hospital System. She was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Beverly B. Harris, of Greenville; two sons, Charles C. Boatwright III, and his wife Jackie, and Ronald W. Boatwright and his wife Helen, all of Greenville; three sisters, Doris Stone, Elizabeth Milsaps and Rosalea Pemberton; five brothers, Willard Moore, Monroe Moore, Oliver Moore, Jerry Moore and James Moore; and six grandchildren, Kari and Kimberly Harris, Normandy, Shane, Lindsey and Christopher Boatwright.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2pm at The Mackey Mortuary, Century Drive, with the Rev. Douglas Gilliland officiating. Entombment will be in Remembrance Mausoleum at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary today from 7-8:30pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society , 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC. The family is at 14 Longmeadow Road. Published in The Greenville News on July 6, 2001.
