On 1 May 1808 Elizabeth married Andrew J Bankson/Bankston 1787-1851 in St. Clair, Illinois. Elizabeth is the mother of Temperance B Gillespie 1809-1865, James 1810-1842, William 1812-1848, Orinda 1815-1845, John Scott 1817-1904, Susannah 1819-1875, Sarah or Sally 1821-1849, Peyton 1823-1857, Elizabeth B Cobb 1825-1867 and Morinda (?) 1828-1879. Elizabeth died in Dubuque, Iowa, or Iowa County, Wisconsin, but was buried in Highland WI where her daughter Elizabeth Cobb was living with her family.
