Brenda M. Moore, age 48, and Mark C. Moore, age 53, both of Wauzeka, died on Saturday, July 31, 2010, as a result of an automobile accident in Bloomington Township. Brenda was born on February 25, 1962, in Prairie du Chien, the daughter of Lyle and Helen (Purkapile) Potter.

Mark was born on May 3, 1957, in Prairie du Chien, the son of Norbert and Marjorie (Kress) Moore.

They both graduated from Bloomington High School. In 1980, Mark began his employment with 3M in Prairie du Chien. On December 22, 1984, Mark and Brenda were united in marriage at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, IA. Brenda was previously employed at Cabela's in Prairie du Chien and enjoyed being a homemaker. They loved traveling, hunting, fishing, and camping. Mark and Brenda enjoyed anything that involved being together as a family. Mark also enjoyed antique cars and playing the drums and Brenda loved to cook and care for her family.

Survivors include their children: Kurt (Janet Dudak) Moore, Manchester, IA; Tanya (Robert Carr) Moore, Wauzeka; Mark's parents, Marge and Norb Moore, Bloomington; Brenda's mother, Helen Potter, Bloomington; Brenda's siblings: Bev Teasley, Cabot, Arkansas; Mike (Karen) Potter, Potosi; Dave (Janice Beall) Potter, Cassville; Betty (Jerry Cromwell) Nelson, Cassville; Trudi Cromwell, Lancaster; and several nieces and nephews.

Mark and Brenda were preceded in death by a son, Jim Moore, Brenda's father, Lyle Potter, and Brenda's nephew, Clint Potter.
