Harold Morrehead passed away at the age of 82. He was born to Claude and Gladys Moorehead. Harold attended schools in Iowa. He met and married his wife of 61 years, Lois Justesen, while he was stationed in Wendover, UT. Harold was employed in McGill at Kennecott for 16 years as a crane operator. He left there becoming involved in law enforcement, serving as an Ely City police officer and White Pine County deputy sheriff. He was appointed a juvenile probation officer in 1970 and in 1971 he was appointed Special Juvenile Court Master for the Seventh Judicial Court. He retired in 2001. He is survived by his wife, Lois; daughter Arlene (Laine) Hendrix of Lund; son Harlan (Julie) Moorehead of McGill; and four grandchildren; David (Tawnya) Hendrix and Jodi Hendrix of Lund; and Aaron and Ashley Moorehead of Reno; brother-in-law Jay (Sara) Justesen of McGill. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.
