Obituary for Margaret M. Morano:
Baltic - Margaret M. Morano 96, of 92 Hanover-Versailles Rd. died Sunday morning at St. Joseph Living Center in Windham.
She was born in New York City on July 31, 1915 the daughter of the late Henry W. and Jennie (Rebando) Amlung. Margaret was last employed as a sales person at the former Reid & Hughes Store in Norwich retiring many years ago. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Baltic. On March 18, 1931 she married George V. Morano in New York City who died on June 12, 1985.
Survivors include one son, William Morano of Baltic, and one daughter, Rose Marie Starace of Yonkers, NY; six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 9:30 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. at the Guillot Funeral Home, 75 South B. St., Taftville followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Church in Baltic at 12 noon. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery Baltic.
