PORTLAND Mildred E. Almy, 86, died Sunday, October 23, 1994.
She was born April 17, 1906, the daughter of William and Bessie (Yomans) Morse. She married Vene Almy on Oct. 18, 1924.
She is survived by two daughters: Ruth (Jerry) Bennett, of Lyons, Barbara (Lee) Parker, of Grayling; two sons: Thomas (Jean) of Lyons, Richard (Rosemary) Almy of Portland; 22 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vene; one daughter, Doris Bills; and one grandson, Douglas Almy.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 27 at 1 p.m. at the Gorsline Runciman Co. Neller chapel. Rev. Terry G. Keefer, Pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church, will officiate. Interment will follow in Keefer Cemetery, Orange Township.Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lyons-Muir Federated Church, Lyons, 48851 in memory of Mrs. Almy.
