She was preceded in death by brothers: Donald Mountain, Marlin Mountain and infant sister: Virginia Mrs. Border was a member of the Tatesville United Methodist Church. In 1955 she graduated from Woodbury High. Over the years she worked at Little Jacks Corner, the Shoe Factory, Martinsburg; Lions Manufacturing, Everett, until its closing, Home Aide Bakery, Johnny Appleseed Restaurant and the Bedford Library.
She enjoyed all kinds of crafts including plastic canvas, crocheting and quilting. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with anyone she met. Burial will be held at Everett Cemetery.
