RAPID CITY | Mary Jane Aduddell, 86, died Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at Hospice of the Hills.
Mary Jane was born Sept. 20, 1926, in Pierre, the daughter of William and Jeanette Mower.
She he grew up and lived 40 years in Hermosa, later moving to Cottonwood, SD, and Nekoosa, WI, returning to Rapid City in 1983, where she has lived since.
She married Clyde Aduddell Jan. 14, 1945. She was a charter member and past president of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 303 in Hermosa; a member of the United Church of Christ in Hermosa (singing with the choir for 25 years); and a past member of the South Dakota Peace Officers Auxiliary.
Mary Jane is survived by one daughter and son, seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and special friend.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clydie; her mother and father; a grandson; and three brothers.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
