Grace Moxley Hawkes, our Gramma, passed away on October 5, 2008 at her home.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Fred Hawkes.

Grace "Gramma" Hawkes is survived by her daughter Winifred "Wendy" Harper (Kenny) of Greenville, FL, grandson Patrick Heskett (Lynn) of Keystone Heights, FL, grandson Kenneth Heskett (Tonya) of Lake Charles, LA. Gramma also had an honorary grandson, Steve Siebold of Keystone Heights, FL. Gramma has left behind six beautiful great grandchildren. Dakota, Nathan, and Emily Heskett, Lake Charles, LA and Crystal, Vannessa, and Madison Heskett, Keystone Heights, FL.

Gramma was an avid gardener and loved to be outside. Her favorites things to do were doing crossword puzzles, fishing and yard work. Gramma taught all three of her grandsons about fishing, snakes, and being boys. She showed her great grandchildren how to love unconditionally and how to care for small kittens.

Memorial services will be held at St. Anne's Episcopal Church in Keystone Heights, November 15, 2008 at 2:00pm. The family will then proceed to Gramma's home at 6922 Deer Springs Road, Keystone Heights for a celebration of her life. Visitors will be welcome.
