Wilfred James Muirhead was a civilian casualty of WW2

Wilfred who served as an Air Raid Warden was the husband of Doris Muirhead, of Cheltenham Road, Peckham. Sadly Wilfred perished as a result of an enemy air attack at the Brockley Way Shelter.

He was cremated at HONOR OAK CREMATORIUM on the 17th April 1941 and his ashes were buried in the memorial gardens. At the time of his passing Wilfred was 32 years of age.
