GRATE
Millie Baker Grate was born in Lucas, Ia., on April 12, 1892, and passed away at the Lucas County Memorial Hospital in Chariton on January 24, 1977, at the age of 84 years, 8 months and 12 days.
In 1908 she was married to Charles Baker. To this union were born four children: Lorene, Louise, Donald and Maxine.
She is survived by her son, Donald Baker of Montebello, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Leon Marshall of Burlington, Mrs. Charles Loeber and Mrs. Earl Arnold of Anaheim, Calif.; two brothers, Herbert Mundell and William Mundell, also of Anaheim, Calif.; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren, and many, many friends.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m Thursday, Jan. 27, at the Fielding Funeral Home, with George Jardine officiating. Interment was in the Goshen Cemetery.
