Mable is the daughter of Cecil Murphy and Erma Layton, the wife of Charles Edward "Charlie" Anderson and mother to Charles Edward (Buddy), Erma Jeanette (Skeeter), Woodson Paul (Woody) and Cecil Albert. She lived in Jacksonville, Fl. as well as Claxton, Ga. prior to moving to Richmond Hill, Ga. where she worked in a clothing mill for years.
