Mrs. Atkinson was a homemaker and member of The Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Howell Twp.
Mrs. Atkinson was predeceased by her parents, James & Georgane Murphy.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Max Atkinson; her sons & daughter-in-law, Ronald & Kathy Atkinson and Thomas Atkinson all of Howell Twp., NJ; her brother, Denis Murphy of Minnesota; her sisters, Hellen White of Whiting, NJ and Georginna Verrastro of Brick Twp.. NJ; and. by her grandchildren, Amanda, Christine and Danielle Atkinson.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at The George S.
