Louisa was one of the First Settlers in the Parish of Perth. Louisa is the daughter of James and Martha (Couillard) Murphy. Louisa father James Murphy the First Settles in 1815 along the Saint John River was Called Tobique;"now Andover". Beloved husband Frederick Dibble Giberson they have five sons Isaiah, Frederick, George, John, and Wintrop and seven daughters Maryann, Victoria, Sarah, Louisa, Patience, Caroline, and Emeline. January 18 1894 "Newspaper The Daily Telegraph" Mrs. F.D. GIBERSON of Aroostock, died early Tuesday morn. and shortly afterwards word was received that her sister, Mrs. Benjamin SLOAT of andover (Victoria Co.) had died a few hours before. January 20 1894 "Newspaper Carleton Sentinel" andover (Victoria Co.) Jan. 17 - The novel spectacle of a double funeral, that of two sisters, aged ladies, Mrs. Benjamin SLOAT and Mrs. Frederick GIBERSON, was witnessed in this village today. The interment took place at the Baptist burial ground.
