Mrs. J. S. Baskett Dead

Eminence, Ky., Aug. 7 – (Special) – Mrs. J. S. Baskett died this morning at her home here. Two weeks ago she drove in form her country home to spend the day with her daughters in Eminence, when she was taken ill. Before her marriage Mrs. Baskett was Miss Phoebe Lowry Neal. She was born and reared near Clay Village, Shelby County. Mrs. Baskett is survived by her husband, J. S. Baskett, President of the Eminence Deposit Bank, and by six children: Mrs. Nannie B. Rees, Mrs. C. N. Rowland, Mrs. T. L. Hornsby, Mrs. R. J. King, Mrs. Ben Snyder, and one son, Loran B. Baskett. Mrs. Basket was a devout member of the Christian church.
