PORT JERVIS — S. Henrietta Aughton of Port Jervis died Feb. 25, 2011, in Winston-Salem, N.C. She was 100. She was born on February 1, 1911 in Middletown, NY, the daughter of the late Charles and Frances Dolan Neeley.
Henrietta worked at the Middletown Psychiatric Hospital as Nurse's Aid for many years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Port Jervis and a member of the Pattern Team of the Church. Henrietta married Irving Aughton, who pre-deceased her.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held Saturday May 7 at 2pm at Pine Hill Cemetery, Sparrowbush, NY. Rev. Robert Hoag officiated.
