Ruth M. (Ness) Fink of Newberry Township, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2006, at Harrisburg Hospital, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She was the wife of Glenn W. Fink. The couple celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary on November 11, 2005.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, October 29, 2006, at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York, with a time of gathering from 6 to 7 p.m. Pastor David A. Yost will be officiating at the service.
Mrs. Fink was born in York Haven, a daughter of the late Frank G. and Mildred (Basye) Ness. She was an Avon representative for many years and a member of the Newberrytown Business Association.
Mrs. Fink leaves a son, David M. Fink and his wife, Stacey of York Haven; a daughter, Kimberly S. Little and her husband, Keith of Allentown; a grandson, Jacob Fink; a brother, Raymond Ness of York Haven; a sister, Helen Miner of Lewisberry; and nieces and nephews. A brother, Harold Ness, and a sister, Louise Hepfer, preceded her in death. Memorial contributions may be made to American Fibromyalgia Association, 6380 E. Tanque Road, Suite D, Tucson, AZ 85715.
