Beulah Grace Elliott was born on April 3, 1916 in Randall, Iowa, the daughter of Gerhard C. and Leona Arney Ness. She graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1936. Beulah formerly worked as a cook at Mercy Hospital and later at the Lennox Aire Flo Inn. She will always be remembered for her kringla and apple pies. She was a mother to many nieces and nephews and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Beulah is survived by her son: Edward (Dori) Vaughan, of Lino Lakes, Minnesota, daughter: Susan (Allan) Wilcox, of Anamosa, five grandchildren: Julie (Brian) Bernier, Jim (Kelly) Vaughan, Mike Vaughan, Jennifer Schuster, and Jeff Wilcox; three great-grandchildren: Darren Ward and Jack & Bradley Bernier; brother Ronald (Ellie) Ness, of Port Charlotte, Florida; sister Sharon (Marion) Arment of Marshalltown, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands James Vaughan in 1953 and LeRoy Elliott in 1996, and eleven brothers and sisters.
