Mrs. Bell was a volunteer with York Hospital, Health South and was a volunteer and a member of the board of directors of Citizens for Independence and Access.
Born in York June 18, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Elmer W. and Minnie E. Harrison Ness.
She leaves three sisters, Joy A. Dellinger of York, Eleanor R. Krout of Windsor and Virginia M. Weller of Norfolk, Va.; and three brothers, Clark Ness of Windsor, Elwood Ness of Annapolis, Md., and Larry Ness of York.
A daughter, Tina M. Bell, is deceased.
Viewing is 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home Inc., 104 W. Main St., Dallastown. The service is at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. David R. Pinckney officiating.
Burial is in Salem Union Cemetery, Jacobus.
