SCHWENKSVILLE Grace I. (Ness) Beck, 76, of Montgomery County, died Thursday, October 25, 2007, at her home. She was the wife of the late Sylvester L. Beck. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2007, at St. Peter's Church, 1708 Seitzville Road, Seven Valleys, with Pastor Thomas Beck officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Holcombe Funeral Home, Inc., 21 Main St., Trappe, and from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Mrs. Beck was born February 22, 1931, in Springfield Twp., and was a daughter of the late Spurgeon A. and Katie I. (Stine) Ness. She survived by four sons, David E. Beck of Schwenksville, Jeffrey Beck of Lewistown, Mark A. Beck of Schwenksville, and Paul A. Beck of Schwenksville; four daughters, Marlene C. Catagnus of Devon, Karen A. Beck of Schwenksville, Joyce F. Beck of Royersford, and Brenda L., wife of Josef H. Wahlig of Schwenksville; six brothers, Leroy Ness of Chesterfield, Mich., Norman Ness of Dover, Paul Ness of Middletown, Ray Ness of Aspers, Barry Ness of York, and Glenn Ness of Glen Rock; three sisters, Treva Bond of Red Lion, Doris Ratliff of Kernersville, N.C., and Jean Raffensberger of New Freedom; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah L. Mancini.
