MRS. ARTHUR BOLLES DIES SUDDENLY
Mrs. Arthur Bolles, a lifelong resident of this vicinity, passed away very suddenly at her home in the village Monday at 3:00 p. m. of heart disease.
She was seated at a table in her home with Mrs. Marion Hopper, planning luncheon for a meeting of the Ladies Aid when she complained of feeling faint and fell forward on the table. Mrs. Hopper called assistance and the stricken lady was removed to a couch and every effort made to revive her, but all efforts were in vain.
Addie Newhouse was the daughter of the late George D. [sic] Newhouse, and was born in Pine Island Island [sic] township about about 62 years ago. She was married to Mr. Bolles in the autumn of 1893 and until about a year ago made her home on a farm just east of town.
She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. R. F. Edling of Chicago and Mrs. W. C. Daly of Los Angeles, and one son, Arthur, jr., at home. She also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Duerre of Lake City and Mrs. Nellie Swits of Watertown, S. D.
Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2:00 o/clock from the Mahler Undertaking parlors, Rev. V. E. Ward officiating, with burial in the Pine Island cemetery.
A detailed obituary will be published later.
