Brian Newhouse, age 36, of Dryden, NY and formerly of Fort Myers passed away Thursday, December 15, 2016. He was born in Fort Myers on March 9, 1980. He was a passionate volunteer firefighter and also enjoyed boating, hunting and fishing. He was also a driving force in building the playground in Montgomery Park in Dryden. He was attending EMT school and was scheduled to become an EMT this upcoming week.
Brian is survived by his mother, Joni (Larry) Judd; his father, Stanley (Patricia) Heath, his daughter, Cheyenne Newhouse, his sisters: Kayla Judd and Debbie (Steve) Seifert, his grandparents, Don and Betty Newhouse, his aunts, uncles and cousins as well as many friends in Immokalee, Lee County and Dryden, NY. He was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Heath.
Visitation will be held at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park 12777 State Road 82 in Fort Myers on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 from 4 pm until the time of the funeral service at 6 pm. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Dryden Fire Department PO Box 397 Dryden, NY 13053.

It is with great sadness the Officers and Members of Neptune Hose Co. #1 share with you the passing of Dryden Firefighter Brian Newhouse. Brian had recently graduated from EMT school and also was elected as a Lietenant for 2017.
Brian worked locally in Dryden and had travelled home to Florida for the holidays.
