"ALTAMONT, Aug. 18. -- Mrs. Luella Adams, widow of Frank Adams, one of the oldest residents of the Altamont area, died yesterday at her home near here following a long illness. She was 81. Mr. Adams died in March at 85. Born in Knox, Mrs. Adams was the daughter of Henry and Harriet Leipe Niemeyer. She was married to Mr. Adams 62 years ago and they moved to Altamont more than 30 years ago. Nearest surviving relatives are two nephews, John and Charles Fredendall, and a niece, Mrs. Frank Cowan, all of Altamont. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning from the Fredendall funeral home. Dr. O. E. Voight, pastor of the Lutheran church, will officiate. Burial will be made in Vale cemetery, Schenectady."
