Daughter of Eugenius A. Nisbet and Amanda Melvin Fitzallen Battle Nisbet. Presbyterian; She married Dr. Patrick Henry Wright on March 1, 1865 in Macon, GA. Her sister, Leila May, married Patrick's brother, Council Wright. Of all of Eugenius' children, Mary bore the most uncanny resemblance to her father.

Macon Ga. July 10-{Special}- The funeral of Mrs. Mary Nisbet Wright was held from the First Presbyterian church this afternoon at 5 o'clock. Rev. R. E. Douglas conducting the service. Interment was made in Rose Hill Cemetery. Hundreds of friends of the deceased and her surviving children attended.
