HIGH POINT Mrs. Leta Mae Northcott Anderson, 89, formerly of Jay Place, died March 30, 2003, at Westwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Archdale.
There will be no service for Mrs. Anderson.
She was born on Aug. 22, 1913, a daughter of John and Cenith Garner Northcott in Guilford County, where she lived most of her life. She was a counselor for the University of Maryland in Munich, Germany, and later worked with the United Services for Older Adults.
She is survived by her daughter, Ms. Geraldine Inez Anderson of Charlotte; a son, Jack Larison of Coronado, Calif.; a brother, Herman Ray Northcott of Savannah, Ga.; a niece, Catherine Poston of High Point; and a great nephew, Robbie Poston of High Point; and the family wishes to thank special friends, Sandy and Ronnie Freeman for the love and devotion they gave Mrs. Anderson.
