Virginia Pearl "Jeanie" Jeffries Nunn, age 84, of Louisville, KY, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2014 at Baptist Health East Hospital in Louisville. She was born in Metcalfe County. She was a homemaker, loving to crochet, quilt and cook. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Louisville. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-greandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerman Jeffries and Healon Pruitt Young, a son, James Lee Nunn, and a brother, Hazel Jeffries.

Funeral services will be held at Winn Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at 1:00 pm with burial to follow in the Houk Cemetery. Visitation at Winn Funeral Home from 2:30-9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2014, and from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9, 2014.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of contributions to American Red Cross.
