She was born at Andrews Air Force Base in Prince George's County, MD, and with her family, lived in Naples, Italy, Sierra Vista, AZ, and Herndon, VA. She was a 1985 graduate of Herndon High School, and 1991 graduate of Radford University. She was a Medical & Marketing Manager for Concentra in Great Falls, VA.
