Ann Marie was born March 9, 1960, in Idaho Falls.
She married her sweetheart, Gerald, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. She spent the past 29 years in Pennsville, N.J. She is survived by her husband, Gerald; her six children, Sara and Jared (Amanda), both of Reston, Va., Nathan (Megan) of Buena Vista, Va., Mary, Matthew and Rachel; her grandson, Stuart; her father, Robert (Virgie) Goodell of Idaho Falls; and her siblings, Mark (Susan) of Orlando, Fla., Eric (Chris) of Twin Falls, Idaho, and Jennifer (Don) of Lehi, Utah.
She was predeceased by her mother, Mary Goodell.
Ann Marie had a love for life and a contagious enthusiasm for so many things. She was an avid quilter, giving away beautiful quilts to many people. She had a love for learning, reading, homeschooling and music. She loved road trips, stopping to see historical sights from coast to coast. She had a tender spot for the missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, always feeding them and helping them. She had a great love for family and friends and always served others. She will be missed terribly by all.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today, July 27, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building, 1194 Kings Highway in Pilesgrove, N.J. A viewing will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, July 26, in the H.T. Layton Funeral Home, 102 S. Main St. in Woodstown, N.J. Burial will follow the services today in Lawnside Cemetery in Pilesgrove.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ann Marie's memory may be made to the LDS Perpetual Education Fund and mailed to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1194 King Highway, Pilesgrove, NJ 08098.
