He was a Cambodian police officer.
He attended Wat Cambodian Temple.
He enjoyed fishing and watching the news.
He is survived by his wife, Sophin Srim of Modesto; children, Chhoeum Chhy, Thony Chhy, Rawuld Chhy, Landy Chhy, Gary Chhy and Soly Chhy, all of Modesto, and Davis Chhy of Ft. Bragg, N.C.; and six grandchildren.
Visitation from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday at Eaton Family Funeral Home.
A funeral will be at noon Saturday at Wat Cambodian Temple, with burial at Ceres Memorial Park.
