Micaela Garza, age 88, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017. Born in San Benito, Texas, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who loved to read and cook. All agreed that she made the "best ever" apple pie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Adan Garza; parents, Natividad Ontiveros and Alejandra Ayala; brother, Gilberto Ontiveros; and sisters, Juana De La Cruz and Josephine Rodriguez. Survived by daughter, Adelina "Lina" Delgado and husband Roland; sons, Adam Garza, Jr. and wife JoAnne, and Armondo "Mike" Garza and wife Linda; grandchildren, Claire Kaltman, Roland Delgado, Jr., Diana Rios, Monica Alfaro, Alicia Griffiths, and Angie Garza; great grandchildren, Aaron Kaltman, Alice Kaltman, Roland Delgado III, Isabelle Rios, Mia Alfaro, Jordan Griffiths, Donovan Griffiths, and Vincent Griffiths; brothers, Jose Ontiveros and Tomas Ontiveros; and sister, Irma Garcia. The Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be 10:00 a.m., April 28, 2017 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas 77060. Inurnment will follow at Houston National Cemetery.
