Arlene J. Alligood, 84, died Thursday, February 7, 2013, at the York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Ira J. "Jim" Alligood, Jr. and the late Charles L. Potter. Arlene was born in Columbia, on July 14, 1928, a daughter of the late Albert and Verna (Walter) Oram. She was a graduate of Columbia High School. Arlene is survived by a daughter, Charlene L. Bupp and husband Larry L. Bupp of York; a son, Randy C. Potter of York; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and a sister, Doris J. Sage of Lancaster. A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, February 11, 2013, at the Etzweiler Funeral Home and Cremation Service 1111 E. Market St., York. Officiating will be the Rev. Richard B. Starr. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
