She has resided in Mechanicsburg for 31 years and considered this her home.She was preceded in death by her father George Quimby, and her husband, Lewis Orse.
She is survived by her mother Sarah Quimby, Mary is also survived by her close companion and friend, Lynnwood Schultz; her aunt, Elizabeth Seery of Virginia Beach; her aunt, Dorothy Duggins, Columbus, Georgia, and niece, Joanne(and John) Martin of Hummelstown, Pennsylvania.She was a good companion, loving daughter and loving friend.
She was a 1977 graduate of Virginia Wesleyan College, with a degree in mathematics. She worked for the Naval information Support Activity (NAVISA) for 31 years, prior to retiring.Mary knew the Lord, and was a faithful member of Country and Town Baptist Church, and the Joy Class.
She collected beautiful things that brought her pleasure, and also loved traveling.She loved playing with her loving and faithful dog, Annabelle.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday November 8, 2011, at 11:00 AM, at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home 601 N Witchduck Rd. Virginia Beach, with viewing from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, Burial at Rosewood Memorial Park.Tributes to www.kellumfuneralhome.com. She will be greatly missed.
