Rosezella J. (Rosie) Massina, 77, of Evansdale, died at Covenant Medical Center on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 following a brief illness.
Rosie was born January 28, 1936, in Waterloo, daughter of John and Flossie Wideman Osgood.
She married Joseph D. Massina April 29, 1955 in Waterloo; they were later divorced.
She had worked at Rath Packing Co. The Jet Lounge and Goodwill Industries.
Rosie is survived by her son Joseph (Tracy) Massina, Jr. of Kentucky; daughter Roxanne (Doug) Herold of Waterloo; daughter Julie (Jim) Jewell of Evansdale, IA; daughter Toni (Tom) Forness of Elk Run Heights, IA; daughter Jolene Massina of Waterloo; daughter Karla Massina of Waterloo; 15 grandchildren and 10 great‑grandchildren; sister Darlene Marquart of Montana; sister Ardeth Rockwood of Waterloo; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded by her parents, stepfather Maxwell Lusthoff, sister Bernice Jones, and brothers Harold and John Osgood.
