Patricia Osgood Maguire left the earth peacefully on Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010, to join her beloved husband James Vincent Maguire.
Patti was born in Peabody, Mass., on Oct. 30, 1951 and was known locally for "bringing Boston to the South" as Vinnie and Coco, part owners of the former SandBar restaurant.
Patti is survived by the Osgood and Maguire families in Boston and Cathy Crowley (retired Boston Police Department) and locally by her godchildren, Jennifer, Will, George and Max Crutchfield.
In lieu of flowers Patti wanted donations made to the Marcia Moss Fund at P.O. Box 40, Wildwood, Ga.
Patti reminded friends to not sweat the small stuff and to make the most of each day.
Arrangements are by Covenant Funeral & Cremation Service, Crox family owned and operated.
