Gin was born in Fond du Lac on May 23, 1919, a daughter of Abel and Gladys (Pierce) Osgood. She was united in marriage to Harold Anderson on July 4, 1937. She was employed at R-Line Foods and Super Valu in Ripon during her working career. During retirement, Gin became an avid quilter, winning "Dickens of a Christmas" in 1988.
Gin resided in Green Lake until Harold's death. She then moved to Ripon and when it became difficult to live alone, she moved to Takoma Park to live with her daughter, Karen O'Neill and granddaughter/caregiver Kathy Corley and her husband, Matt. Gin is also survived by her sisters, Charlotte Rottman, Betty Bump; 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Gin was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Eugene; brother, Bernard Osgood.
