Sidney Mae (Paige) Kohlbacher passed away peacefully at home on Friday, July 24, 2015. She was born on October 2, 1926 to the late Joseph and Effie (Robinson) Paige in Clarksburg, West Virginia. She met Harry Kohlbacher during her senior year as a cadet registered nurse at the VA Center in Dayton, Ohio; they were married October 28, 1949 in Dayton, Ohio. Sidney graduated from Akron University as a Registered Nurse. She worked in several of the hospitals in the Dayton area, completing her nursing career at St. Elizabeth Medical Center.
Sidney is survived by her husband Harry Kohlbacher, having celebrated more than 65 years of marriage. She is also survived by her daughter Toni Duncan (Steve), son Robert Kohlbacher (Lois), son Timothy Kohlbacher (Kathy), and daughter Terri Hammond (James). Also survived by grandchildren Shelley Profitt (Mike), Stephanie Davis (friend Bill Smith), Shawn Duncan, Heath Wise (David), Tiffany Presgraves (Jeremy), Kyle Kohlbacher (Katie), Calvin Kohlbacher, Tracy Lenz (Matt), Christy Crider (Jason), and great grandchildren Anthony and Chelsea Philpot, Tyler Davis, Scarlet Duncan, Hannah, Taylor, Dawson and Autumn Wise, Victoria Presgraves, Abigail and Lilly Kohlbacher, Caleb and Madison Lenz, and Mackenzie Crider. Also survived by niece Jo Baker (Ken), numerous nieces and nephews and their families and many special friends.
