WHITINSVILLE - Gloria M. (Palmer) Clark, 67, of Woodland Street died yesterday in Milford-Whitinsville Regional Hospital, Milford.
She was the wife of Edward A. Clark, who died last year. She leaves three sons, Donald A. Clark of Lake Geneva, Wis., Paul R. Clark and Gary L. Clark, both of Whitinsville; three daughters, Joanne A. Mattos of Rehoboth, Barbara D. Benoit and Betty A. Clark-Curtis, both of Whitinsville; two brothers, Jasper and Clarence Palmer, both of Uxbridge; three sisters, Hazel Sibley of Mendon, Carrie Scuncio of Warwick, R.I., and Moraine Blanchard of Uxbridge; and 11 grandchildren. Born in Uxbridge, she was a daughter of William and Ada (Murdock) Palmer.
She was a member of Uxbridge Taft Memorial Methodist Church. She was a 1941 graduate of Uxbridge High School. Her hobbies were knitting and sewing. Until three years ago, she was a winder in several local textile mills.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow from Buma Funeral Home, 101 North Main St., Uxbridge. The Rev. Twila Broadway will officiate. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Uxbridge. There will be no calling hours.
