Mapleton, IL - Patricia Ann Auer, 73, of Mapleton passed away at 12:05 a.m. Sunday, June 29, 2014 at UnityPoint Health-Methodist in Peoria.

Born Feb. 2, 1941, in Waterloo, Iowa, to Marvin and Flora E. (Davis) Park, she married Frank Kulisky in 1959 in Bethany, Mo. She later married James Richard Auer on Feb. 17, 1980, in Peoria.

Surviving are her husband of Mapleton; one son, Michael (Cindy) Kulisky of Florida; one daughter, Janet (Eric) Hoyer of Lee Summit, Mo.; two stepdaughters, Trina North and Lisa Lynch, both of Utah; four grandchildren; four step grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; six step great-grandchildren; and one brother, Donald Park of Pasadena, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her infant son and one sister.

Patricia was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Pekin.

She had worked for the Illinois Department of Human Services for Tazewell and Peoria counties for over 20 years, retiring on Dec. 31, 2002.

Patricia owned her own art gallery and loved to oil paint. She also enjoyed going to auctions.

Burial will be in Hammond Cemetery in Hammond, Illinois.

Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin is in charge of arrangements.
