Elouise Parker Barnes, 85 of D'Iberville died Sunday, April 6, 2003 in Biloxi.
Mrs. Barnes was a native and lifelong resident of the Coast. She retired after 25 years service as head start teacher with St Johns Center. She was an avid bowler having won numerous trophies and awards. She was also an avid hunter accompanying her late husband on many hunting trips. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church.

Preceded in death by her husband, Walter R. Barnes Sr.; her son, William David Barnes; great-grandson, Aaron Michael Rosonet; two sisters, Viola Buckhalter and H. Bertha Holmes; two brothers, Eugene Parker and Clifton Parker.

Survivors include three daughters, Patricia Bonello and husband, Salvatore of St Martin; Peggy Fayard and husband Michael of Biloxi; Glenda Tiblier and husband Jack of St Martin; two sons, Wallace 'Chip' Barnes and wife, Carmen of Biloxi; Walter 'Chuck' Barnes and wife Julie of Roseville, Calif; 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p m tonight at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home.
Services will be 2 p m Wednesday in the funeral home chapel.
Burial will be Biloxi City Cemetery.
