Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday, March 18, 2002, at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi.
D'IBERVILLE --- Gwendolyn L. Fountain, 82, died Wednesday, March 13, 2002, in Biloxi.
Mrs. Fountain was a native and lifelong resident of the Coast. She was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith. She was well loved by family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Graham Fountain; a sister, Janie Garlotte; and two brothers, Ward Latimer Parker, James Albert Parker.
Survivors include a son, James H. Fountain Sr. and his wife, Sandra of D'Iberville; four grandchildren, Susan Jean Fender, James H. Fountain Jr., Stephanie Joann Solley and Sarah Melvin; two great-grandchildren, Andrew Fender and Emily Fountain; and two sisters, Ella Grace Flynt of Mt. Olive and Jacquelyn Rose Clark of Wiggins.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2002, at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, March 18, 2002, at the funeral home chapel, with burial in Biloxi City Cemetery.
