Obituary of Arbelle Elizabeth Parker Allbright

Gulfport, MS ~ Arbelle Elizabeth Parker Allbright, age 71, of Gulfport, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012 in Gulfport.

Mrs. Allbright was preceded in death by her daughter, Viola Lynn "Sissy" Sharpe; her parents, George and Annie Parker; brothers, George and John Parker; and sisters, Annice Parker Poindexter and Ruby Liz Ortiz;

Survivors include her son, Virgil Morse and his wife, Mary of Biloxi; daughter, Kathleen Thompson and husband, Brian of White Pine, TN; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; her dog, Wee Wee; and her siblings, Lilly Whittington of Texas, Ruth Smith of Meridian, Nel Palermo of Long Beach, Mary Wicktom of Diamondhead, Dalton Parker of Hattiesburg, Barbara Prestwood of Gulfport and William Barber of Pascagoula.

Mrs. Allbright loved gardening, flowers mostly, and baking.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, March 11 at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport. A second visitation will be on Monday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens in Long Beach.
