Betty Ann (Williams) Patterson, age 85, of Maybee, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2017 at her daughters home under the care of her family and hospice. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on September 4, 1931 the daughter of William and Anna Elizabeth (Theobald) Williams. She graduated from Lincoln Park High School in 1950 and married Ralph C. Patterson May 19, 1951 in Lincoln Park. Sadly he passed away June 17, 2003. Betty was a bookkeeper at Eastern Michigan University and at Glade Valley School and was also an accountant for a builder. She traveled, enjoyed camping, sewing, bingo and spending time with family, babysat her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was very active in the Belleville United Methodist Church, the church In Sparta, NC where she had lived for a time, and also the London United Methodist Church. She is survived by her two daughters; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a sister in law. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, her son Ralph (Mickey) Patterson and three brothers Robert Williams, William Williams and Dale Williams. A memorial service will be held for Betty on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at 1 PM at the Dundee Senior Citizens Center, 284 W. Monroe Street. A funeral luncheon will be served immediately after the service. In Accordance with her wishes cremation has been held and inurnment will take place later at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery in Flat Rock, Michigan. Officiating will be Rev. Chris Butson, pastor of the London United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to London United Methodist Church or to Dundee Senior Citizens Center.
