Mary Catherine Al-Khateeb, 58, of Birmingham, AL passed away on March 14, 2017. Mrs. Al-Khateeb is preceded in death by father, Bert B. Payne; son, Jason Glasscock; and grandparents, Lucille and George Smith and Willie Mae and John Hooper.
She is survived by husband, Ihab Al-Khateeb; sons, Zac Al-Khateeb (Christina) and Jacob Al-Khateeb; daughters, Courtney Bailey, Laela Al-Khateeb and Jennifer Finn; mother, Marilyn Payne; brother, Mike Riggins; grandchildren, Emma Catherine Bailey, Mason Bailey and Evelyn Bailey.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at11AM from the Chapel of Lemley Funeral Home with burial following at Pleasant Mount Cemetery. Mrs. Al-Khateeb will lie in state at Lemley Funeral Home on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 5PM until 8PM and on Saturday from 8AM until service time.
