Darlene worked for nine years at Mosaic in York. She loved to crochet and made numerous afghans for her family. She also enjoyed baking, playing Bingo and time spent with her family.
Left to cherish her memory are her son Michael Bankson of Grand Island; three daughters, Catherine (Dan) Danhauer of York, Deb (William) Cool of McCool Jct. and Julia (David) Schram of Osceola; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles T. Peaker and John E. Peaker of Omaha a a host of relatives and friends.
Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, former husband Marion, two grandchildren, Wade Cool and Angel Bankson and two sisters, Shirley Hall and Mary Jo Howe.
Inurnment was in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Thayer, NE.
