NICHOLASVILLE - Alene Peel Back, 70, of Bethel Rd. died Thu, May 24, at the University of KY. Medical Center. A native of Jessamine County she was born Sep 17, 1936, to the late Morris Jr. and Emmalene Lowry Peel. She was a former employee of GE Lamp Plant and a member of the Bethel Christian Church. She is survived by her husband of 40 years Jesse Back, her children Charles "Chuck" Bowman and wife Paula, Richmond, C. Diane Easton and husband Robert, TN, Jesse M. Back Jr. and wife Patricia, Washington, and Joseph M. Back, KY, 3 sisters Barbara Bowman and husband Billy, FL, Dorothy Duncan and husband Bob, and Pauline Foster , a brother in law Delton House all of Nicholasville, 7 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister Mary Ruby House and a brother in law James Foster. Services will be 12:30pm Tue, May 29, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Bales officiating, burial in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Philip Foster, James Neal Reynolds, Billy Bowman, Richard Cook, Rick Duncan, Randal House, and David Back. Honorary bearers will be Gary Back, David Grose, Mickey Stinnett, Charles M. Bowman, Jerry Morrison, June Humphrey, and Steve Blake. Visitation will be Mon, May 28, from 4-8pm at the funeral home.
