Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Sanford P. and Hattie Duncan Perry.
She was a homemaker and was a member of Woodside Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Mona Chandler Sunday School Class.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a daughter, Karen Barton Hooper, and her husband, Jimmy, of Travelers Rest; three sons, Marshall Barton, and his wife, Sheila, of Easley, Michael Barton, and his wife, Linda, of Piedmont, and Lake Barton, and his wife, Tina, of Townville; two sisters, Edna Canup of Piedmont and Jennie Barton of Greenville; nine grandchildren, Kimmie Bates, and her husband, Greg, Nicholas Barton, Amy Hester, and her husband, Dakota, Cody Hooper, Ciara, Whitney and Brittany Barton, and Brett and Faith Barton; and three great-grandchildren, Anastyn Hester, Kelsey and Kendal Bates.
She was predeceased by a grandchild, Seth Barton.
Graveside services will be today, at 3 p.m., at Graceland West Cemetery on White Horse Road, with the Rev. Ronnie Williams officiating. — The Mackey Mortuary, Century Drive.
