GEORGETOWN - Hilma P. Barnhill, 81, widow of L. Eugene Barnhill, died Tuesday, November 20, 2001 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 22, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. in Ringel Heights Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Mark Nelson and Rev. Tommy Earl Barnhill. Burial directed by GRAHAM FUNERAL HOME will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.

She was born August 6, 1920 in Williamsburg County, a daughter of the late Grady Durand Perry and Meddie Altman Perry.

She was a member of Ringel Heights Baptist Church and also the Adult Sunday School Class No. 1. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her flower garden as her hobby.

Surviving are one son, Grady Durand Barnhill of Atlanta; one daughter, Betty B. Anderson of Georgetown; four brothers, Russell Perry of Johnsonville, Lionel Perry and Clinton Perry both of Hemingway and Winston Perry of Murrells Inlet; five sisters, Erma Marsh of Statesville, NC., Theora Venters of Johnsonville, Fairy Lou Gregory of Durham, NC., Velma Miller of Murrells Inlet and Shirley Ann McBurnette of Summerville; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son, Earl Barnhill in 2000 and a grandson, Benjie Anderson in 1999.
