Jacob Pfister, aged 49, passed away Tuesday night at 8:20 o'clock at his home, 1621 N. Fifteenth street, after having been ill for a week with pneumonia. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the residence, and at 2 o'clock from the Trinity Lutheran church, the Rev. C. P. Schulz conducting the services. Burial will be at the Lutheran cemetery.
Deceased was born June 7, 1879, in Russia. While in that country he married Anna Matthias, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gottfried Matthias. The couple came to this country in 1909 and settled in this city, where they established a permanent home. For 15 years, he was employed at the Kohler company plant, but for the last year prior to his death, was employed by the Vollrath company.
The wife and one brother, the latter living in Europe, are the only survivors listed.
